The Sanyo Maru #26 sailed the Kanmon Straits on January 6, 2025. This sleek looking little tanker has been known to frequent dumps like Ube and Iwakuni after passing by the heavenly cities of Kitakyushu and Shimonoseki.

THERMOPYLAE is a vehicles carrier (RoRo ship) and was recently photographed passing thru the Kanmon Straits between Shimonoseki City and Kitakyushu City, Japan. Thermopylae is a large vessel, and while not as long as some others, is quite tall. It dwarfed the buildings and other ships and boats it passed on the afternoon of April 2, 2022.
